Espresso

Hello! I have a card for the 2019 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and for Time Out challenges. The challenge for Time out was a word challenge and coffee theme for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I started with the cup from Reverse Confetti's Caffeinated Cups set and stamped that in Icing on the Cake ink from Catherine Pooler. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Perk Up set, also stamped in Icing on the Cake. The coffee is stamped in Catherine Pooler's Over Coffee and the steam is stamped in Twilight from Catherine Pooler. I made an Over Coffee mat and added a black polka dot mat to that. I found some old card bases in my stash from Creative Memories. Then added some gems to finish off the card. Thanks for stopping by!

A card and a Layout

Happy 2014! This year started out great because we rang in the new year with some great friends! Yesterday was a football day and although our team did not win (the Iowa Hawkeyes) there were some great games played. I'm going to start the new year with a card and a layout that I made today. First up is the card, it's for the Fusion Card Challenge . I chose to use both the photo and the sketch and I'm very happy with how the card turned out. I need to do more scrapbooking this year, I am 6 years behind. The bad part about it is that my memory is horrible, I don't remember the specifics of most of the events. Oh well, at least I've got pictures for my kids to see and they love to look at their scrapbooks. Speaking of pictures, that's one of my New Year's resolutions. I want to take more pictures this year. I've been so behind in the scrapbooking that I have only taken pictures of special events. I want more everyday photos, the year

Happy 2016

One of my resolutions this year is to participate in more challenges. So, I'm starting out with one card for 2 challenges. The first challenge is Color My Heart Color Dare . The Close To My Heart colors to use were Desert Sand, New England Ivy and Poppy. I'm using an old CTMH set - Pretty Petals. The second challenge is Just Us Girls Challenge .
